Love the fabrics, but you must have seen them on my blog and know ;-). How are things? We are doing great. School started again today for David, tomorrow for Lucas and next week for Esther.

Thank you. I wish that were so, but the fair is only 3 days away and I still have almost 2/3 to go.

Thank you - it is so frustrating when not only are you stitching something for yourself, but it is also going to be a shop model, which puts you on a deadline and then you make mistakes! Oh well, it is not something that will totally affect the end piece.

I loved your story about the mistake in the border; I nearly always end up with mistakes in my samplers too. Someimes I try and redo them, but sometimes its too late and I have to leave them in: once I didn't discover that I'd failed to finish a little border until the sampler was already framed and hanging on my bedroom wall. Living with a mistake that no-one else will evr notice is always very good therapy for us sewing perfectionists! However I always think about the Amish when I make a mistake, because I remember that they put a mistake in everything they make because 'only God is perfect'! I am enjoying your blog.

You're making great progress. You *can* make it to Paris (or, you know, the Craft and Quilt Fair). :o)

Oh, it most definitely is a work in progress, especially as I often have to move things out of the way so that I can set up the sofa bed. In about a month, I am going to have to dismantle the desk area as we will be having a guest for about a week who will need access to the wardrobe. So when I get the room back, I have no doubt that the desk area will be set up differently. I also have a heap of books and folders to fit in here.
